Salem Parks and Recreation

Salem Parks and Recreation has recently moved to a new facility. It had previously operated out of the Salem Memorial Building. The salem commission decided to separate the two departments, as their operations had been intertwined for many years. In addition, the salem parks director had worked for both entities.

The new Salem Parks & Recreation office is located at 2222 Oak St., just off Southeast Boulevard. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations for picnic shelters are accepted, but are subject to availability. The department will communicate changes and cancellations through normal channels.

York County Parks

New Salem is a borough in York County, Pennsylvania. It is 0.4 square miles in size and is near North Codorus Township. The borough has two main streets and few social facilities.
